“Cook the Mountan” has found its home within the walls of the former Moessmer manor house.
Here history, passion, innovation and respect find a perfect balance.

The project was born out of the collaboration between Norbert Niederkofler and Moessmer Woolen Mill President Paul Oberrauch.

Founded in 1894, the Moessmer wool mill is the oldest industrial concern in the Puster Valley.
Today, it is among the few textile companies that process wool through the entire production cycle, establishing lasting relationships and guaranteeing the sustainable use of resources.
These characteristics have made it a creative partner and supplier to the most famous international haute couture brands.

The journey of “Cook the Mountain” continues.

The historic Ansitz Heufler in Oberrasen, Antholz Valley, built in 1580 by the Heufler von Rasen family, is now part of the family and offers a truly unique experience for an unforgettable stay.

Ansitz Heufler is one of the most remarkable examples of Renaissance architecture in South Tyrol.

The project is a collaboration between Norbert Niederkofler, Ira Prugger, and Andrea Tomasini, creating a space rich in history, style, and vision.

The building has been carefully restored with great respect for its historical heritage.

Original details have been brought to light, such as frescoed ceilings, vaulted rooms, and the historic “Hearnstube”.

The elegant suites offer an exclusive experience, a place where privacy meets genuine hospitality in a truly special way.

Every space tells a story: of this place, its roots, and the people who have shaped and lived it.

The lovingly preserved old stube on the ground floor invite you to relax and spend time together, just like the rustic “Rauchkuchl”, now a stylish bar, and the cozy terrace outside.

Ansitz Heufler can also be exclusively booked for weddings or corporate events.
